Averello Studios is a strategic experience design consultancy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
It is written in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, or you want to know exactly what we hold about you, write to us and we will tell you.
Information we collect
We collect only what you choose to send us, plus a small amount of technical context needed to deliver and protect this website.
- Information you submit. When you complete the project inquiry form or the contact form, we receive your name, email address, organisation, an optional link, the areas of work you selected, your written description of the opportunity, your timing, your indicated investment range, who is involved in the decision, and how you found the studio.
- Correspondence. Emails and messages you send us, and our replies.
- Submission context. The page you arrived on, the referring source, and your time zone. This tells us where an inquiry came from; it is not used to build a profile of you.
- Measurement data, only with consent. If you accept analytics cookies, we receive aggregate usage data such as pages viewed and whether an inquiry was started or completed.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, we do not ask for payment details on this website, and we do not ask for sensitive categories of personal information. Please do not send confidential or sensitive material through the forms; wait until we have agreed a secure route.
How information is used
We use the information you submit to:
- read your inquiry and reply to you;
- assess whether the work is a fit for the studio and prepare a considered response;
- send you a confirmation that your inquiry arrived, including a reference number;
- schedule a discovery call where the inquiry is a suitable fit;
- maintain our own record of enquiries and engagements;
- keep the website secure, and detect and prevent automated or abusive submissions.
Every email generated by this website is transactional: it is triggered by your own submission, sent to you alone, and carries no marketing content. We do not operate a marketing list from this website, we do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use your inquiry content to train machine-learning models.
Third-party services and processors
We keep the number of third parties deliberately small. Where a service is used, it acts on our instructions and only for the purpose described.
- Website hosting and delivery. Serves the pages you request and processes form submissions in transit.
- Email delivery. Sends your confirmation and notifies the studio that an inquiry arrived.
- Client relationship and scheduling records. Holds our record of the inquiry and, where offered, books a discovery call.
- Analytics, only with consent. Receives aggregate usage measurement after you accept.
Some of these providers operate in the United States and elsewhere, so information you send may be processed outside your own country. All submissions travel over an encrypted connection. Our diagnostic logs are written so that the content of your inquiry — your name, email address, organisation and written description — is never recorded in them.
How long information is kept
We keep information for as long as it serves the purpose it was given for, and no longer as a matter of habit.
- Inquiries that do not proceed are retained while the opportunity remains live, then removed from our active records.
- Inquiries that become engagements are retained for the duration of the engagement and afterwards for the period required for our records, contractual and tax obligations.
- Correspondence is retained as part of our business record.
- Aggregate analytics are retained in summary form and are not tied to an individual inquiry.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to confirm what information we hold about you, to correct it, to provide a copy of it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also withdraw your cookie consent, and you can ask us not to contact you further.
Write to concierge@averellostudios.com with your request. We will acknowledge it within five business days and complete it within thirty days, telling you if more time is genuinely needed. We will not treat you differently for exercising a right, and we may ask you to confirm your identity before releasing or deleting information.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional statutory rights and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
How information is protected
Submissions are encrypted in transit, access to inquiry records is limited to the people who need it to respond to you, and outgoing links to any external system must use an encrypted connection or the transfer is refused. Uploads are not accepted through the forms; if a document is needed, we will arrange a secure route. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise — if an incident affects your information, we will act promptly and tell you where we are required to.
Governing law and jurisdiction
This policy, and any dispute about it, is governed by the laws of the state in which Averello Studios is organised and the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The studio's full legal entity name, registered address and the agreed venue for disputes are stated in our engagement agreements and are confirmed here on publication of our final legal terms.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices or the services we rely on change. The effective date above always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects how we handle information you have already submitted, we will say so on this page and, where appropriate, write to you.
Privacy questions
For a question or request concerning information you have submitted through this website, write to concierge@averellostudios.com.
Please put “Privacy request” in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly. We acknowledge requests within five business days.
