Accessibility statement

This website is designed and built to target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In practice that means keyboard operability throughout, visible focus indicators, sufficient text contrast, semantic headings and landmarks, descriptive alternative text, and support for reduced-motion preferences. Accessibility is treated as a design requirement rather than a remediation task.

• A skip link and a single main landmark on every page.
• Forms with labelled fields, inline plain-language errors and no visual puzzles.
• Motion limited to a single restrained reveal, disabled under reduced-motion settings.
• Content that remains readable and complete without animation or hover.

Averello Studios considers this website to be substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Substantially conformant” means the standard has been met across the site, with the possible exception of isolated issues we have not yet found. This is a self-assessment maintained by the studio, not an independent certification.

Conformance was assessed against every published route, including the homepage, The Averello Process™, the services pages, work, insights, about, contact, the project inquiry form and these utility pages.

We are not aware of any outstanding Level AA failure at the time of writing. Two areas sit partly outside our direct control:

• Scheduling. Booking a discovery call may hand you to a third-party scheduling tool whose interface we do not author. If it presents a barrier, write to us and we will arrange the call by email instead.
• Client imagery and documents. Photography supplied by clients is published with descriptive alternative text written by the studio; where a caption cannot fully convey a detailed image, we will describe it on request.

If you find something we have missed, telling us is the fastest way to get it fixed — we treat reported barriers as defects, not feedback.

Accessibility was assessed by combining automated testing with manual review: automated audits across every route, keyboard-only navigation of each page and the inquiry form, screen-reader review of headings, landmarks and form errors, contrast measurement of every text and interface colour pairing, testing at 200 per cent zoom and at narrow widths, verification that all content remains available without hover, and confirmation that motion is suppressed under a reduced-motion preference.

This statement was prepared on 3 August 2026 and is reviewed at least annually, and whenever a significant change is made to the site.
